Multi CMTK

You can add other CMTKs to your dashboard in order to get a better overview.

Add new CMTK

  1. To add a new CMTK, you neeed to press the "+" button.

  2. Enter the hostname or ip address of the CMTK and click on "Next". Here you can also change the protocol and the port. However, it is recommended to use the secure https connection.

  3. If you have chosen a secure https connection, you can upload the certificate here or skip the validation. If you have decided in favour of an http connection, you can skip directly to point 4.

  4. Login to selected CMTK with admin credentials and click on "Next".

  5. Click on "Add now".

  6. "Device successfully added" message shows up - CMTK is added.

    Now the CMTK shows up in the Dashboard with the hostname or ip address you entered.

Device status

There are different states of a CMTK. You can see the current state by looking at the color of left line on the device tile and the dot next to the "Check now" button:

  • Ok (green)

  • Warning (yellow)

  • Error Login (red): This state occurs in case the connection is released from within the general settings of the node CMTK. It can be reconnected easily via the login button.

  • Error Host not found (red): This state occurs in case the connection is lost because the node CMTK is unreachable. If the issue occurs due to a changed host name, it may be easily adjusted via the change host button.

  • Error Certificate (red): This state occurs in case of a certificate validation error which might happen if the certificate of the node expires or gets regenerated manually on the node. You may change the certificate via the change certificate button.

You can check the detailed messages by clicking on "Check now".

The message dialog shows all messages and where they originate from.

In order to examine one of the added CMTKs in detail, you may use the "Dashboard" button. It opens a new browser window with this specific CMTK and you are already logged in with your current user. If the user currently logged in does not exists on the cmtk node, the button is disabled.

Remove CMTK

  1. To remove a CMTK, you first need to click on the "Edit" button.

  2. Press the "Remove" button of the CMTK you like to remove.

  3. Press the "Remove" button in the "Remove device" dialog.

  4. "Device successfully removed" message shows up - CMTK is removed.

  5. Click on the "Finish" button.
