Network Configuration¶
Call settings
The settings are accessed via the SETTINGS command of the tile under Network.
In the network settings you make various settings for the two LAN ports on the CMTK.
Network Settings
LAN port 1¶
By default, LAN port 1 is set as a DHCP server. If you want to connect several CMTKs in series, activate the Daisy Chain option.
Note
With the daisy chain configuration activated, the CMTK can no longer be reached via LAN port 1 via the IP address 192.168.10.1, but only via the IP address of LAN port 2.
LAN port 2¶
By default, LAN port 2 is set as a DHCP client. If necessary, you can set up a static IP address and specify the address of a gateway or DNS server.
Hostname¶
With this option you can give the CMTK an individual host name under which it can then be reached in the network.
Ping¶
This feature allows you to use the LAN port to ping a specific IP address / hostname in the same network.
Ping Hostname
Note
The ping function will only identify if the IP address / hostname is reachable in the network.
