Integrate IO-Link master¶
-
Connect the IO-Link master directly to the CMTK via LAN port 1 or LAN port 2 and ensure that the IO-Link master is accessible to the CMTK within the LAN.
Note
IO-Link masters often have a static IP preset at the factory. For connection to LAN port 1 or LAN port 2, this must be adapted, e.g. to Manual within the same IP range.
-
Navigate to the Connected Devices menu and click * Add Master*.
A search is made for reachable IO-Link masters.
Note
Please make sure that the network ports within your network are enabled.
-
Click CONNECT to connect the CMTK to the IO-Link master. The IO-Link master appears under the CMTK.
You can make all other settings as usual for the sensors connected to the IO-Link master. If you want to remove the master again, you will find this setting under the 3 points of the master.
Note
You can add up to 5 masters, one with a maximum logging interval of 50ms and the others with a maximum logging interval of 500ms.
