Configure data storage

Open settings

The settings are opened via the SETTINGS section and in Database tab.

In the menu item Database you can modify the settings of the data storage on the CMTK.

Adjust data rate and size the database

• Enter the data rate variably between 50 ms and 60 s in the DATA RECORDING INTERVAL field. A total of 4 GB is available on the system for data retention. If this value is exceeded, the system deletes the oldest data. For your information, the system calculates the data retention period dynamically. The data retention period depends on the number of connected sensors, the number of stored parameters and the data rate. In addition, you will receive information about the age of the data in the database.

Note

Data retention is limited to a maximum of 90 days by default. You can deactivate this limitation. Longer retention periods, especially in combination with slow data rates, can lead to high system load after some time, as a result of which the system is not accessible.

Export database and empty database

1. Click EXPORT DATABASE to export the data as a CSV file from the database.
   
2. Click CLEAR DATABASE to delete the database.

Enable external access to database

• Enable the Enable external InfluxDB access function to enable external access to the database (influxDB).

Save changes

• Click Save to save your changes.
