3D Image Layer Navigation#
The RadarImager can acquire 3D images of objects moving on a conveyor belt. The 3D image consists of a stack of images, each representing a different layer and depth in the z-direction. You need to navigate through these layers to view the object in one or more layers of interest.
Navigating through the 3D Image Layers#
Prerequisite
- You have successfully setup RadarImager and generated the first image.
- You have set the parameter
distanceZToDeepestLayerOfInterest
accordingly.
To view different details of the object in different depths you can navigate through the acquired 3D image by selecting
the layer with the parameter layerSelection.indexes
:
The animation shows different layers of a pan. The higher layers show the handle of the pan, while the lower layers show the bottom of the pan and a leaflet and cord on it.
Matching layers with depth
Refer to the configuration reference of the parameter layerSelection.indexes
for information about how many layers can be selected and wich layer corresponds to which depth.
