Monitor authentications¶

There are IO-Link network modules that require authentication. In this view, you can view authentications that have already taken place on the IO-Link network module and log in or log out of an IO-Link network module if necessary.
Log on to IO-Link network module¶
Click on the topology name in the topology overview.
Then click on Authentication.
The recognized stations and their login status appear in the authentication overview:
Select the IO-Link network module to which you want to log in and click on the symbol for logging in on the right-hand side

The following window opens:
Enter your login details for the device and then click on Login
You have logged on to the IO-Link network module.
Note
If your login data is not valid, the login status of the selected device will change in your list:
Click Close to exit the authentication overview.
Log off from IO-Link network module¶
Click on the topology name in the topology overview. Then click on Authentication.
The following dialog appears:
Authentication overview: 4 stations, 1 logged in, 3 logged out¶
Select the IO-Link network module you wish to log out of and click on the logout icon on the right-hand side

You have logged out of the IO-Link network module.
Click Close to exit the authentication overview.
