Magnet mode

Description

The number of position magnets can be set to fixed or flexible.

Fixed number of position magnets

If a fixed number of one or two position magnets is set, the BTL continuously checks the number of detected position magnets.

If this number does not correspond to the set number, the application goes to error mode.

Flexible Magnet Mode (FMM)

In Flexible Magnet Mode the number of position magnets is flexible and can also be changed during operation.

The following modes are available:

Magnet mode – Values
Value	Meaning	Description
0x00 (0)	Flexible Magnet Mode	At least one position magnet is required.
0x01 (1)	1 position magnet	Only one position magnet is detected (the one closer to the connector).
0x02 (2)	2 position magnets	Two position magnets are required.
