Variable object movement speed#

RadarImager now supports variable object movement speeds in addition to operation with a constant configured objectSpeedX. This improves imaging for applications where the object does not run at a perfectly constant speed, for example during startup, deceleration, stop-and-go movement, or temporary standstill.

Added:

  • New imageTriggerMode IMAGE_TRIGGER_SIMPLE_WITH_PULSED_SPEED for live speed measurement via pulses on Port2.
  • New encoderPulsesPerMeter parameter to define how many encoder pulses per meter are generated by the movement.
  • New encoderUseBothEdges parameter to evaluate the encoder signal on one or both edges and increase the speed measurement precision.

Parameter objectLengthX#

Increased maximum allowed value for parameter objectLengthX from 0.5 to 0.75 meter.

Bugfixes:#

  • Fixed some parameter boundaries
  • Improved system stability for demanding applications with parameter updates
